1.Warrantor and scope
Rocks Contracting & Trading FZ-LLC, trading as ROX Tactical, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (the Company), provides this Limited Warranty for authentic ROX Tactical footwear supplied by the Company or an authorized seller with this warranty. It covers military and tactical boots, officer and formal shoes, running shoes and other ROX footwear within their stated intended use.
This is a voluntary commercial warranty in addition to mandatory rights. A signed supply agreement or accepted order may provide different or additional warranty terms and takes priority to the extent lawful. This version applies to supplies for which it is provided or incorporated; it does not retrospectively reduce an earlier warranty or alter an existing contract. A website reference to an old, current or future model does not by itself extend its warranty period.
2.Beneficiaries and warranty period
Unless the supply agreement states otherwise, the warranty runs for 12 months from documented delivery to the original institutional or business purchaser. For deliveries in separate consignments, the period starts separately for each consignment. A different acceptance-based or issue-to-user start date applies only where agreed in writing, including any agreed storage period or final claim deadline. Resale, internal distribution or later issue to personnel does not restart the period.
The original purchaser may submit a claim directly or through its authorized seller. An end user issued the footwear by that purchaser may report a defect and may pursue the claim with the purchaser's authorization or supporting issue records. A separate retail receipt is not required where the institutional supply and issue can reasonably be verified. No product registration is required.
A repaired or replacement item is covered for the remainder of the original period or any longer period required by the contract or mandatory law. Mandatory claims remain available according to their applicable periods. This warranty does not promise a minimum service life under every level of operational intensity.
3.Covered defects
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship present at supply and becoming apparent within the warranty period during use consistent with the agreed specification, intended purpose and care instructions. Examples include premature stitching, hardware, bonding or component failure caused by a manufacturing defect.
A failure involving a branded sole, fabric, membrane, zipper or other component can be covered when it meets these conditions. The buyer is not required to obtain a remedy from the component brand before submitting a claim to the Company or authorized seller. Mandatory conformity rights and any express contractual performance commitments remain effective.
4.Wear and excluded causes
Normal wear is not a manufacturing defect. This includes expected tread loss, cushioning compression, creasing, scuffing, colour change and material ageing consistent with service conditions. Unusually early deterioration may still require assessment; its appearance alone does not establish either coverage or exclusion.
This warranty does not cover damage to the extent caused by misuse, accident, deliberate damage, inadequate care or storage, or exposure beyond the product's stated limits. Relevant examples include cuts, punctures, crushing, excessive heat, aggressive chemicals, inappropriate washing or forced drying. A protective rating does not make a product immune to every exposure within the same general category.
Incorrect size or ordinary fit preference is not a manufacturing defect, but this does not exclude incorrectly supplied sizes, misdescription, construction defects or a separate agreed fitting obligation. A third-party insole, repair, alteration or replacement component excludes only damage or failure caused by that intervention; it does not automatically void unrelated coverage.
Missing or illegible labels do not automatically defeat a claim where authenticity and eligibility can reasonably be established by other evidence. Counterfeit goods are not covered. The Company may request reasonable proof of authorized supply but will not use evidence requirements to remove mandatory rights.
Hydrolysis, bonding failure and other material degradation are assessed on their actual cause, age and storage history. They are not automatically classified as misuse merely because the product was stored. Damage caused by unsuitable storage is excluded only to the extent supported by the assessment and permitted by law.
5.Tactical and professional use
Demanding military, tactical, professional or training use does not itself void this warranty when within the product's specification. Coverage depends on whether the failure results from a covered defect rather than ordinary consumption, abrasion, contamination, accident or exposure beyond the stated limits. Intensive use may shorten service life without establishing a defect.
Officer or formal footwear and running footwear must be used for their stated purposes. They do not carry protective-footwear ratings merely because supplied to military or institutional customers. Applicable protection and performance depend on the specific model and configuration.
6.Care and inspection
Follow the model-specific care instructions supplied with the footwear; they take priority where more specific than this general guidance. Remove loose dirt with a soft brush and clean with a suitable damp cloth. Use only care products appropriate for the leather, fabric, membrane and other materials concerned.
Dry naturally in a ventilated place away from heaters, open flames and intense direct heat. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, pressure washing, solvents, bleach and aggressive cleaners unless the model-specific instructions expressly permit a method. Reapply suitable water-repellent treatment when required without impairing breathability.
Store clean and dry in suitable ventilated conditions. Do not seal damp footwear in airtight packaging. Institutional stock should be managed in accordance with any agreed storage specification and inspected before issue. Inspect uppers, stitching, closures, tread, bonding and protective parts before use; stop use when a defect or deterioration could compromise safety.
7.Making a claim
Contact the original authorized seller or email info@rox-tactical.com with Warranty Claim in the subject. Provide the purchaser or issuing organization, supply reference, delivery date if known, model, size, batch identification where available, photographs of both shoes or boots and the defect, and a short account of use, storage and care. Alternative evidence may be accepted where original records are unavailable.
Report a defect promptly after discovery and within the warranty period for this voluntary warranty, without limiting a longer contractual or mandatory claim period. Stop use where continued use may worsen the defect or create risk. Reporting alone does not require shipment; await the claim reference, approved address and handling instructions.
Clean and dry footwear before return unless that would destroy evidence. Disclose contamination or a handling hazard before shipment. Remove unnecessary personal or restricted operational information from photographs and records. Do not send goods to a component supplier, factory or office without authorization.
8.Assessment
We may inspect the product and consider wear, contamination, storage, care, exposure, specification and production records, using qualified internal or independent specialists. Evidence requests must be reasonable and proportionate. An internal assessment does not displace a mandatory evidential rule, independent legal remedy or regulator's authority.
We will explain the decision and the principal reason for any rejection. If further information or testing is needed, we will explain what is required and provide a reasonable expected timeframe. You may request reconsideration with additional evidence through info@rox-tactical.com. A decision about one pair does not automatically determine the status of an entire batch; credible evidence of a wider defect will be investigated as appropriate.
9.Remedies
For a valid claim under this voluntary warranty, we will repair the covered defect, replace the affected footwear with the same or a reasonably equivalent product, or refund the price paid for the affected footwear, at our option unless the contract or mandatory law gives the claimant a different choice or sequence of remedies.
A replacement must preserve the agreed intended use and required protective characteristics. A materially different size, fit, certification or specification requires agreement where it affects conformity. The remedy does not authorize a unilateral substitution that breaches the supply contract. Where replaced items or parts must be retained for analysis or become our property, we will explain the arrangement, subject to applicable law.
The warranty does not itself provide compensation for downtime, substitute equipment, wages, travel, lost profits or other consequential loss. This does not exclude compensation required by mandatory law or an express contractual obligation, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10.Transport and assessment costs
For a confirmed covered defect, the Company bears reasonable approved transport and assessment costs necessary to provide the warranty remedy, subject to any more favourable contractual or mandatory requirement. Contact us before arranging shipment so that a suitable route and any customs requirements can be agreed.
If inspection finds no covered defect, transport, specialist testing or cleaning charges may be payable only where their basis and amount or method of calculation were disclosed and accepted in advance and the charge is lawful. No fee is imposed merely for exercising a mandatory right. Hazardous or contaminated goods require an agreed safe handling procedure.
11.Supplier brands and safety obligations
Third-party component names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not establish a joint warranty, agency or authority for a component supplier to change this warranty. The Company remains responsible for its own obligations concerning the complete footwear. Any independently applicable supplier warranty is additional and governed by its own terms.
No employee, seller or supplier may amend this warranty on the Company's behalf without appropriate authority. This does not negate legally binding representations or mandatory remedies. Product recalls, safety actions and mandatory conformity rights apply independently of expiry of this voluntary warranty.

No provision excludes or restricts a right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The relevant supply agreement governs disputes where validly agreed, otherwise the competent forum and applicable law determine them. Introduction of retail sales will be accompanied by appropriate retail warranty disclosures before purchase.
